Why I wrote this book

Have you ever felt trapped, even when everything seemed perfect from the outside? I was there too. Overwhelmed, stressed, and overburdened, with a nagging sense that I wasn’t living my true self.

Living from a place of fear - fearing change, fearing stagnancy, fearing disappointments - consumed me. Drowning in endless work hours was my escape, a way to avoid letting anyone down. Somehow, busyness became my badge of honor, masking the guilt of not measuring up to self-set standards.

Growing up, I believed my value lay in my productivity. I was haunted by the thought: "If I don't work harder, will I be passed over for the next opportunity?"

Yet, all this came at a price. I pushed my needs to the background, sacrificing my mental, emotional, and physical health. The endless, swirling thoughts, the constant irritability, and the recurring health issues were loud wake-up calls.

But since 2018, the chapters of my life have transformed. Investing in holistic education and healing, I've peeled away layers of limiting beliefs. Today, my relationships with my loved ones, and importantly, with myself, are rich with understanding and connection. I pivoted from a 15-year corporate tech career to embrace a mission: guiding women to reconnect to their Self.

By 2020, I embarked on a journey to pen down the wisdom I gained. Introducing my debut book: ‘Reclaim Your Self’ which was released and became a bestseller in November of 2022. Dive in to unearth strategies to handle stress, navigate complex emotions, break free from consuming thoughts, and most importantly, reignite the essence of who YOU truly are.

I followed the expected path and my life looked perfect to others. But internally, I felt like I lost a piece of myself every day to maintain it.
